I took the pictures on the left the day I decided to get healthy. I took the pictures on the right today, 5 months later. I started weighing 128.6 pounds, and this morning, I weighed 122.6 pounds. Exactly 6 pounds later, this is my body.
I just wanted to share this with you guys. Although sometimes I feel like I haven’t made any progress since I started this health and fitness journey 5 months ago, the changes in my body are definitely noticeable.
My stomach is smaller and more toned, and the curve of my waist is more defined. Now, you can almost see some abs peeking through!
My calves and thighs are much slimmer! I have my feet positioned the exact same way in each picture so you can see the size difference. My thighs aren’t smushed together anymore and they don’t have as much cellulite!
You can’t tell easily from the picture, but my arms have gotten a little smaller and I finally have a little muscle in them.
Now look at the bottom. My stomach is flatter and less bloated (and hey, I’m even on my period right now!) and my butt looks a lot nicer.
I’ve lost a lot of fat, but what I’ve gained is worth so much more. I’ve gained muscle. I’ve gained strength. I’ve gained happiness- I still have my bad days, but I’m so much happier now. I’ve gained confidence in myself- I now know I can do anything I set my mind to. I’ve gained health, which is the most important of all.
I feel so much better about myself, especially after seeing this comparison. It’s not huge progress, but it’s progress nonetheless. I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I know I’ve got a long way to go, but I can do it. I’ve come to terms with the fact that my body changes very slowly, but if I put in the effort, it will change.
Keep your heads in there, ladies and gents. You can do it. If you have a bad day, or binge on cookies and cake, or eat under your calorie goal, or don’t exercise at all for a while, IT’S OKAY. I’ve had plenty of those days! Just take a deep breath and keep fighting for what you want. You’ll get there.
Lastly…thank you all for being here with me every step of the way. Your endless support and kind words have encouraged me to never give up, even when I think I’ve hit rock bottom. I love you all to pieces.
I can’t wait to see how far I’ve come by the end of the summer.
Hard work at it’s finest.

GAH, thank you so much. This made my morning so bright even though it’s cloudy and soon to be rainy here. You have the most amazing soul I’ve ever seen. :)
Anonymous asked: Does sex feel good?
Yeah sorry, I can’t really answer this for everyone. I’m sure it depends on plenty of factors regarding your partner.
However, I’m not really going to chit chat about my sex life here. It’s quite personal and if you really, really want to know more, ask me off anon.

Well. My allergies are all really awkward. That’s for sure. Here’s what they are.
Foods: Pineapple, kiwi, mango, hazelnuts, and starfruit
Other random things: Grass (fuck this one), tree pollen, horses, cats, ragweed and marigold
But I know if I were to do so my face would swell up and I wouldn’t be able to breathe. So, I guess it’s probably not worth it.
